Journal / Scrapbook Ideas

Before my girls were born I was working on a Pregnancy scrapbook. I took pictures of my bump every week or two and wrote about how I was feeling and what was happening at my appointments. I also included all my sonogram pictures (since I was lucky and had lots of them). I didn't finish the book (left off at week 28)and want to finish it now. I was bummed thinking I would never remember the details of everything those last few weeks to include, but then I decided to search my own posts and voila! All my Bump check ins  have all the details and all I had to do was copy/paste and print to include in my book. I think I will do the same to make sure I keep the girls' baby books updated.

How about you - did you keep a pregnancy journal or scrapbook? Are you doing a baby book?

Great idea to search your posts! I didn't keep a pregnancy journal this time but did take bump pics that I'll put in our 2014 family photo book and put in Liam's baby book (had a free shutterfly book that was about to expire so did a book of bump pics, shower pics and his first month). Will do a shutterfly book for his first year, also.

I have baby books for both the kids and a big chronological scrap book of my adult life (including pregnancy) , I'm not great at it though.

I'm planning on making a scrapbook-style baby book for LO. Right now I've got a journal where I write down dates or anecdotes in rough, and I'll organize them and write them out properly for his scrapbook. I've kept a onesie, a newborn diaper and hospital tags to include. I'm also going to make a pocket to put all the cards from family members. I need to get on this!

For my pregnancy I did one layout for my regular scrapbook album with pictures from different weeks, and I included a paragraph outlining a few things about my pregnancy.

I had originally wanted to do an actual scrapbook but found that making a book through shutterfly or snapfish is SO much easier.  I made one documenting LO's first 4 months and will probably just do one every 4 months because if I wait a year that darn book would be huge!

I'm doing a 0-6 month book on snap Fisk. It's getting thick Maybe I should break it up more.
