Losing weight

DD... not me, unfortunately. She was 13lbs 14oz at her 4 month check up on 9/26. Today I weighed her with our at home scale and she was 13lbs 11oz. This scale has been accurate in the past. Im confused as to why she lost weight. This girl can eat! Anyone else experience lo losing weight? Im not overly concerned because she eats great, just curious if I should be worried.

We don't have a baby scale so when we weigh her it's not that accurate but I do remember reading somewhere that once babies start moving around a little more they tend to lose weight at first. Maybe that's why she's down a little bit?

Was it different times of day? She may have just eaten before her appt, or just peed at home, for example.

She is a skinny baby. She had a dry diaper but ill weigh her again today.

She was 49% weight wise at her 4 month appointment.

A single reading that's off by only a few ounces is meaningless. Scales vary and body weight fluctuates daily.

Most professionals don't recommend weighing at home at this age unless a doctor has instructed you to do so for specific medical reasons. That way lies madness.
