Breakup

I left my boyfriend tonight. He has not treated me well since I've been pregnant and it's finally gotten to the point of no return. I'm very scared and emotional and could use some advice. I'm hurt from the breakup and terrified to do this alone. Please any advice would help. Thank you and I appreciate you all.

    You did the right thing. It sounds like a volatile relationship, and you and your baby are much better off without that. You and your baby's safety has to come first!

    I agree with jellybean.  You got out, now just stay away.  If he does anything to you that scares you or makes you afraid for your safety, call the cops and start documenting everything.

    20Thirteen and jellybean gave the best advice. Id like to add, get a custody order, and a lawyer(legal aid)

    Also, time will help you move past the pain. Stand your ground and do what you know is right for you and your LO. Your heart will heal and you will move on. Hugs!!!
