Re: ♡♡♡April Mommas 10/12♡♡♡

  • Thanks for the check in, rubysi. How are you?

The house full of people is tiresome! MIL is doing fantastic, which is great. I am super hopeful (
[-O<) she will be able to go home soon. Everything is super stressful, but I am trying to remember none of this is permanent. We do not know next steps yet, I am not sure they will do chemo or not. If that happens, heaven help us, she will be stuck here. Please understand, I love her to pieces, but she is a HORRIBLE patient!! I dunno if I will survive watching her go through chemo. I did it with my mom and that was bad enough.

On a TTC front, I go in for monitoring on Thursday. Hopefully that will show some good growth and we can move along with trigger pretty soon.

QOTW: My comfort food is H's homemade potato soup. He makes it for me if I am not feeling well and I associate it with him. Does that make sense? It's my ultimate in feeling better.

  • Hi ladies!  Thanks @rubysi !

@megrae12 - definitely sounds like a stressful time, hope you are getting through ok.

Doing ok here.  Getting ready to hit my 2nd EDD next month and once again, I'm hoping I am pregnant by then but that didn't do me much good last time, so there are definite mixed feelings going on.  Hoping the next month or so carries some good news.

QOTW- I have way too many comfort foods to list, but with Fall I'm so excited for the various pumpkin stuff.  I'm trying out the Woodchuck Pumpkin Hard Cider tonight and it is pretty yummy.  I just lost 11 lbs though and then went on vacation and gained about half back, so trying to get back where I was and not overindulge which is obviously not easy this time of year!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

    BFP #1- 4/2011; DD Brynn born 12/2011

BFP #2- 7/13; EDD- 4/2/14; Lost DS at 20 weeks (11/16/13) due to cord accident

BFP #3- 3/14; EDD- 11/28/14; Lost DD at 15 weeks (6/7/14)- cause unknown

To my angels- I held you every second of your lives and I'll love you every second of mine.

Mmm... potato soup. My DH makes me vegan cream of tomato soup when I am sick. I am glad your MIL is doing well. Hoping for some good sized follies next Thursday.

So glad to here she's doing well :) Work is going much better! Still busy but we're getting into a new routine. Excited for a few things coming up at work in the next few months. We started miscarrying almost a month ago now. I guess af will come soon hopefully and we can start trying again. I'm loving the pumpkin scones at Starbucks right now
That first AF can be difficult and a relief. I hope it appears soon for you.

I made a loaf of ciabatta that I have just about finished today.  It looks like you are not taking temps at a consistent time, I am sure this adds to the wackiness
