Here's a train wreck of a story for you.

DH's brother completely crashed our housewarming party. We didn't invite him (nor did we invite his third wife, two daughters, stepdaughter, and stepdaughter's best friend and her toddler who also live in their house bc her parents kicked her out for stealing $ and her baby daddy is in jail). He has been largely cut out of the family due to multiple reasons (mainly drug & alcohol abuse, domestic violence, possible child abuse, and forging FIL's name to cash in his college fund for drugs).

Recently, he gave my inlaws a sob story about how he was turning his life around so he's been around more. He has never apologized to DH for the numerous things he has done to him, so DH doesn't want him in our lives.

I thought DH was going to literally flip out when BIL shows up with his crew. We still don't know who invited them. Oh and the best part? On their way out the door, he says he has to go home and rest bc he's been running a 103 degree fever all day.

DH has it narrowed down and is planning to question both parties. At first, I didn't want him to, but then I changed my mind bc this doesn't need to happen at P's birthday parties, etc.

Update: We are on wake up #3 with P screaming, thrashing, and having a runny nose. I can't get warm, can't breathe out my nose, and my throat is on fire. Heads.are.going.to.roll.

Oh my god I would have flipped my shit and asked them to leave, but I'm a bitch like that. Was the party today though? Because there is no way he could have gotten you and P sick that fast, so someone else's head needs to roll if that's the case, lol! Hope you guys feel better soon.

@mamasighs You are absolutely right.  I mean, I'm angry at BIL for showing up sick, but for all he knew, he WAS invited.  We still haven't determined who it was, but sooner or later, we'll figure it out.  Even if we have to do process of elimination.
