Hi ladies-

Been gone for a few weeks between work, vacation/5 year anniversary and more work.  We got to enjoy a college football game and drank A LOT of wine from various wineries in OR during our trip, so it was a great time.

Just before we left on our trip, we had our MFM consultation.  Nothing new but they did give us some suggestions that may help/won't hurt if we get pregnant again (I started having a prolapsed uterus with my last pregnancy, so I was fitted for a pessary and we're going to do a low dose aspirin and additional folic acid regimine).

We also did the Counsyl test- it was mainly for additional information- not something they necessarily expected to give us a reason for our losses.  We found that I am a recessive carrier for Cystic Fibrosis and Smith- Lemli- Opitz. Doesn't mean much for future babies unless DH is a carrier as well, so he had his blood drawn in Friday to find out.  I really wanted them to test both of us at once (just felt like it was my luck lately that I would be a carrier for something) but they can tailor his tests based on what I'm positive for, so we waited. And of course the timeline of the test results coming back will likely push us just past my ovulation this month, but fingers crossed they get back a little early :)

So hopefully we get good news soon! We'll go in for early testing as soon as we (hopefully) get a BFP and will be seen every two weeks.  I'll also see the MFM for some extra scans throughout.  We still don't have any sure answers but it feels really good to have a plan.  I've missed you ladies and feel like there are a ton of new names that have joined the last few weeks, so while I'm sorry to welcome you here, this is a fantastic group of ladies and I hope we can provide the support you need.  I look forward to catching up!

BFP #2- 7/13; EDD- 4/2/14; Lost DS at 20 weeks (11/16/13) due to cord accident

BFP #3- 3/14; EDD- 11/28/14; Lost DD at 15 weeks (6/7/14)- cause unknown

To my angels- I held you every second of your lives and I'll love you every second of mine.

    Welcome back! I hope your husband's counsyl test comes back clean! I  think that was one of the hardest parts when we were starting to TTC since I'm also a carrier for cystic fibrosis, as well as Wilson's disease and Familial Mediterranean Fever. I hope the time passes quickly until you hear from counsyl.

    08/2011: Clomid 50mg, IUI --> BFN  ,
    10/2011: Clomid 100mg, IUI --> BFN
