sorry ahead of time

so we're getting construction done on our house so we're staying with my ils
now i love my ils and i'm very lucky to have them
in small doses
for a few hours on sundays....not every freakin day
my mil knows everything....knew i was pg the first time and apparently knew the 2nd would be an April/may baby.....and knows when soph poops bc if the face she's making (she's never had a poop face) and knows everything she does at dc bc she spent an hour there once for grandparents day....and fil never wears his hearing aid so he's always yelling and telling her no for everything she does....she's 21 months...she's going to use her hands to eat or she's going to take off her shoes....not to mention we have to repeat and explain ourselves a dozen times and his colonge gives me a headache oh and apparently dh and sil were the only kids ever to walk up a slide which is why she does it....
plus soph won't sleep here unless with me on the couch in the room with random blinking computer lights (which i can't turn off bc mil doesn't know how to turn the comp back on) like 3 ticking clocks? and i can hear their dripping faucet too....
i'm sure i sound ungrateful....which isn't true...they are welcoming and so excited to have soph here....but it's just getting to be too much....i'm gunna snap soon and lose my shit and tell them to shut the eff up...which would be bad....so i just bite my tongue for now and pray we can go home....soon
sorry for the rant....just had to get it out

Ugh I would rather we live in our SUV than with my in laws. I hope construction doesn't last much longer!!

Sorry, YMIL, have you never been to the park? EVERY kid walks up the freaking slide. LOL. It's hard when people are good people but also completely annoying. My MIL and my mom can be like this and it makes me feel guilty that I can't just let things slide!

I think living with family our anyone else with a toddler would be torture, even if you normally get along with them! Vent away!

it'd be fine if they didn't ya know...talk? lol

they've been playing with sophia for like an hour now which is awesome cuz i needed to nap....but i swear if i hear my fil yell no one more time....

i wish we could stay with my parents (would have been ideal since we live across the street from them so our commutes would be the same and we could check on the construction...) but they don't have enough room for 3 of us....let alone 2 of us really...we all have to leave the house at the same time and it'd be a mess...we did it the 2 week our house didn't have power after sandy....i mean the house held 4 ppl before, but still....my sister did just get an addition on her house and has enough bathrooms to fit us all, but, 2 kids 1 toddler and 1 puppy to 4 adults is a lot....so there isn't an option either....ils have a split level house so it's like we have our own little apartment almost down here, but not really but kinda

it's just farther away from work for both of us, and now we have tolls...

alls i'm sayin is that this new kitchen and bathroom better be the best kitchen and bathroom ever

and also, if you don't see anything from me here or on IG for more than a few days, send the authorities...i might have snapped
