when did LO feed at the same intervals?

Do you remember about how old your LO was/is when they started to feed at the same time? My DD is 6 weeks and is starting to get a little more predictable on the time frames that she eats. When it comes to nighttime though I would like to establish a window that is her feeding time on a more consistent basis. That seems hard to do not since they are sometimes hungrier sooner than later or cluster feed, etc. I hope this is making sense. I guess I am just trying to say when did you LO get into a consistent feeding routine?

11 weeks and it still changes. mostly every 2 hours. but it varies. We feed on demand.

My LO is 5 months old, and still not consistent about nighttime feeds.  Sometimes he eats once, sometimes three times.  The times all vary as well.

in the past week it seems she has gotten into a routine on her own with feeding.  As pp says things can change daily though.

My LO (he's 12 weeks) has only been consistent with night time routine but during the day there seems to be no exact schedule.  Since he was 8 weeks old, he would eat between 10:00-11:00PM and then will sleep until 8ish in the morning.  Sometimes he takes a few hour nap after his first morning feed and will eat every 2 to 3 hours.  However, there are some days where he stays awake a ton/eats more or days where he is sleepier, so I'm still feeding on cue.

No predictability here either. My LO is 9 weeks. They go through too many growth spurts these days for it to be predictable. I mean I'm also an adult and eat at random times hah.

My daughter is 13 weeks and she eats every 2.5-3 hours during the day except at night she'll go 6-7 hours. If she's super fusy I'll feed her early!

We had a pretty consistent schedule starting around 6 weeks (I feel so blessed! LOL!) He was like clockwork during the day, ate every 2 1/2 hours pretty much. And we didn't let him sleep through feedings all the time, we kept him to his schedule. At night gave him his last bottle around 11 or so, slept til 6am, sometimes even later.

He's now 3 months and change and is on an every 3 hour schedule during the day pretty much, then goes down at 9:30 and I wake him at 6:30am to get ready to go to sitter.

I think keeping him on a consistent schedule has been the key for us. It's easier to figure out what's wrong with him too if he's fussy. 99% of the time it's because he's wet. :)

This sounds great. I am more of a schedule person myself. Many posters say not to worry about a schedule too much but for me its more calming.

We started after she passed her birth weight and started a schedule of every 3 hrs during the day (6-7am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 2-3am). It's really helped us a ton bc she's a much more efficient eater and I have to wake her up most the time to eat. She's gaining weight and doing great. This has been a lifesaver for my personality and gives her GI track a break instead of working 24/7
