Loving little hands while nursing

In the last couple of weeks, DS started touching my face while nursing. Sometimes eyes closed, sometimes eyes open & serious, and sometimes eyes open & smiling. All of these just melt me — his soft little fingers and palm are learning what my chin, lips, nose, cheeks, and eyes feel like. Never thought I could love a person this much. I wish I could pause at 5-months-old for a few more months... They are learning and growing too fast!

DD started to touch DH's face in the last week when he's lying next to her. So cute! She once in awhile touches my chin too.

My LO just started doing this also :-) not while nursing but just when I'm holding her or rocking her. However, when I am nursing her she like to "scratch" my side which tickles me and its a fight to not laugh! I love it though :-) Definitely agree that they are growing too fast!

Us exactly. I have a claw mark across my face. She's particularly a fan of grabbing my bottom lip and trying to rip it off.

DD does this too and it is seriously my favorite thing right now. Although I am much more aware of when I need to cut her nails now. She's pretty gentle, but she's scratched me a few times. Still, I love it!

Same here. DD also loves touching DH's beard and our dog's coat. Death grip and all.

This. Or if I'm feeding DS a bottle, he strokes my hand.

When I'm changing his diaper he somehow smoothly grabs my forearm, locks in into like a half Nelson, and starts sucking on it frantically. It cracks me up every time.

I have a busy handed little guy. Always has to be touching something now. Whether he's grabbing at a face, rubbing my boob, or snapping my bra. I don't really mind it once I remind myself he's learning.

All of this totally melts me. I dunno why I'm so sentimental right now, but I love her little hands on me. When she sleep-nurses, she rests one hand on the boob or holds my finger. When she's awake, her hands are moving all the time -- grabbing my lips or my nose, petting my cheek, trying to stick her hand in her mouth. Baby hands! Just pure perfection.

@Haleighkay90‌ I don't wear glasses but DH and all the grandparents do. She LOVES going for the glasses. The other night she reached behind her head and grabbed the glasses off his face. Since then, he takes them off before he picks her up.

DS is starting to get a little rougher so as to get a reaction out of me - for his amusement. Still charming. Slightly scary, but mostly cute.

My LO had started doing this same thing and sometimes if she's woke up from a nap and wants to eat I pretend to bite her fingers and she thinks it's hilarious so she'll keep smacking my mouth. We were out to eat the other day and I had my nursing cover in and up comes this hand out of the cover and in my face lol. Sometimes at night while rocking her to sleep I have to hold her arm or it swings around like crazy because she's trying to stay awake. Otherwise I am really enjoying it so cute!
