Baby Doing Backflips

When did your baby start doing backflips? My daughter did a standing backflip for the first time at 5 months. Kicked DH right in the face with her ninja foot.

I'm sure the original post was meant as a joke, but on Labor Day DD really did do a backflip...right out of my arms. She lurched backward suddenly and ended up dangling by the one leg I managed to pin between my arm and hip. Super scary.

5 months? Hmm, a little late. My LO was doing backflips in utero. Just saying.

That is scary!! I swear Chloe tries to throw herself out my arms all the time. It's most likely going to happen on day I'm sure.

Last time DD did a back flip was inside me! Although, she did try and launch herself backwards out of my sisters arms when she was 1 day old!

DS tried this with my mom on her hardwood floor last weekend. She was holding him upright and had her hand under his butt and not on his back because she had just stood up and he arched his back and almost went all the way over. Super scary!
