IUI #2 - Trigger Shot Question

So I went in for my mid cycle u/s and I had one follicle at 22.  I was told to trigger tonight.  I O'd on my own the first time so I'm pretty nervous about the trigger shot.  I was told to trigger between 8-10.  My IUI is Sun at 11.  Should I trigger closer to 8 or 11?  I wish they'd just tell me the exact time I should do this.  I'm so nervous.  Also, does 1 follicle mean good or bad?  I get so nervous when I'm in the doctor's office I can't think of questions.  Any words of wisdom or advice would be helpful.  Thanks in advance for the help.

It only takes one follicle to get your KU! I only had one mature follicle on my first medicated cycle with a trigger and got a BFP (unfortunately I have since miscarried). I don't think it will matter what time you do it - that's why they gave you a window. If you are concerned, I would do in the middle of the window, around 9 pm. You ovulate around 36-48 hours after the trigger shot, I believe. So, when I had my trigger shot at 9 pm on a Friday morning, they told us to wait until Saturday evening to have sex, so about 36 hours after I had the shot we had sex, then again the day after that, then she said we could stop. 

Trust your RE! They know what they are doing. Hope your IUI went well and GL!

Thanks Katie! I triggered at 9. Unfortunately my husbands SA wasn't great. He's been on testosterone for the past month due to low libido. Prior to the treatment he had wonderful numbers. Now everything has plummeted. I can't win for losing in that department. Can't make a baby if you have no sex drive. Now that he has a sex drive he has low numbers. Doc wants to "talk" if iui doesn't take. I pray it works. Dunno if we can take the bad news.

Good luck!  I had IUI #3 yesterday, so it sounds like we're cycle buddies.

I hope it's not even necessary, but "the talk" doesn't have to be anything bad, just a chance for you all to figure out what's not working and make corrections.  Hang in there!
