no appetite at 21 weeks

I'm 21 weeks and my appetite still hasnt improved. I'm eating less than I was before I got pregnant and it really worries me. I've gained about 9-10lbs so far and my dr doesnt seem concerned but I am. I ate nonstop with my first and gained 45lbs total but this time is so different. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, idk if it matters, but my first was a girl and this time it's a boy not sure if the gender makes a difference.

I didn't have any appetite at all until about a week ago (so, no appetite up until 21 weeks or so). My doctor wasn't worried, but told me to try to "indulge" myself with tempting food. If your doctor isn't worried, and you are eating when you are hungry, then don't work yourself up over it. My appetite showed up with a vengeance and I went from never being hungry to being constantly hungry now.

9-10lbs is a healthy weight gain at 21 weeks. I would not be worried. Eat nutritious foods when you are hungry and everything should be just fine

If you don't have much of an appetite, just make every bite count. Make sure you are getting healthy nutrition for you and baby. You'll be fine. Don't stress yourself if your doctor isn't worried.
