False Alarm-ish

5am Thursday morning while making my lunch I had a gush of fairly clear fluid with white flecks. Didn't think much of it until contractions started a couple hours later while I was at work with a LOT of stuff to do. Didn't notice any continual leaking, but did start to time the contractions which were irregular averaging 7-15 minutes apart. Decided I would stay at work until I finished my procedure and then go see the midwives or if something dramatically changed, then I would go then. Talked to a couple ladies who asked if I though they were braxton hicks or the real thing. Fortunate for me, there isn't a difference between the 2 as neither hurt, so I couldn't say. At 4:30p I walked over to the midwives (I work on campus which has the hospital too) and got checked out. Thankfully, my water didn't break, but they did decided to stop my contractions being as I'm only 35wks. I did get the warning that if this happens again once I reach 37 weeks that they probably won't stop it.

I went 41w3d with my first, so I was assuming I would go over with this one as well. With everyone around me saying that I'm gonna come early and now with this episode, I'm not too sure when he'll make is appearance. Though I really want to reach my 40 weeks, at this point I'm praying to at least make it to 37.
