I was going to have leftover chili during the 1st Blues game of the year (LGB!) but then I realized I'm already having leftover chili for lunch, and that just won't do (why is there no farting emoticon?!). Inspire me, J13!

tortellini minestrone soup!  I am thinking of maybe starting it in the crock pot this afternoon and then just adding the fresh pasta and greens closer to dinner time so I can get most of the prep out of the way ahead of time.

I pulled some salmon out of the freezer. I'm thinking rice and broccoli also.

It is so nice out today so I am grilling chicken and will make rice and a vegtable for a side.

Thanks for mentioning tortellini minestrone @denverbride. We have everything we need from the CSA box to make it and frozen tortellini I have been meaning to use. Yum.

I swear I bought rice recently, but it was no where to be found. Whhhhyyy do I forget so much?

Baked beans were a fine substitute, and Lilly chowed down on them like they were the best food ever. Lucky break, I guess.

Turns out I already cooked and ate that chicken I was talking about  :-/

My mom brought us some smoked salmon and some awesome bread, so smoked salmon BLTs tonight!
