Hi all. Up for DDs feeding and had this in my email from @crawford411 :
Contractions started around 2, were regularly 4 to 5 minutes apart by 5ish. We decided to go in since I was also having some slight bloody fluid leakage. Got checked into triage and still 5 cm. They debated whether I was in true labor and finally decided to admit me when I hit 6 cm around 10 pm. Contractions are about every 3 minutes now and they are considering beaking my water if my contractions slow down. They are checking PIH labs because my BP has been up the whole time (wonder why). If labs are good, I get a room with a bathtub and intermittent monitoring.
UPDATE:
Still at 7 cm but thinning more. Doing okay without epidural. They are going to break my water when my doctor comes on at 7.
UPDATE #2 got an email saying this:
Just broke my water at 8 am. Baby is a stinker and pooped. Holy wow, contractions picked up.
Let's show her some love and T&Ps that the Hulk ute may be finished soon! @crawford411 I hope I'm doing alright with your updates?
UPDATE #3:
Sonia Ann was born at 9:24 a.m. 6 lbs 6 oz and 18 inches long. My OB did not get back to the room in time! Apparently I'm a good pusher!
