Pregnancy journal?

Has anyone bought a pregnancy journal yet or used one in a previous pregnancy that they would recommend? I loved reading over my mother's few notes about her pregnancy with me in my baby book and I'd really like to have a place to keep all these experiences I'm having to remember someday.

I've looked around at different baby books online but it's hard because they don't show u what it is inside, and it can be annoying having to traipse around book shops looking for the ideal book, so I have decided to make my own so I can put in exactly what information I want too.. I bought a beautiful scrap book and am just writing down all my random thoughts and ideas. I love looking back on diaries I wrote when I was younger so think it's lovely for a baby to be able to read their mothers thoughts. Some ideas I thought of are creating a name page, a page for your partner to jot down their feelings, a page for each week of pregnancy ( including photo of bump, strongest symptoms, thoughts of the week appointments ) also a page for your baby shower ( if u have one ) a page for your family and friends to write little messages to the baby, a page of inspirational quotes, pregnancy on the job, nursery ideas, announcement page. If u look at each page idea and then write out a list of questions that you can answer I think that is easiest for example.. First page - Finding out we was pregnant. Some questions might be - when I saw it was positive I.. I felt.. How I told your daddy.. He reacted.. When and who we told first.. Here's how we're going to tell everyone.. Etc Lol. Hope this helped and gave you some creative ideas hehe xx

I have been using The Belly Book. I also have been keeping an actual journal where I write down things in more detail. It will be nice to look back on both of these someday.

I bought this for my sister about three years ago when she was pregnant with my nephew. It's super cute! After I have my first appointment and my nerves are settled I will buy it for my self in the next two weeks.

However I don't think she ever used it.

@lysser1218 @hawksfan82 I'm also using The Belly Book. I like it because it's cute, but pretty simple. I felt like some others ones that I looked at had too much going on.

I'm keeping note and diaries and letters to the baby in my phone. I'm turning some of the entries into a shutterfly pregnancy journal photobook so it incorporates pictures I'm taking.

Thanks ladies for sharing!! I'm going to try to shop a little this weekend and if I don't find anything I love the idea of making my own - I just don't want to lose steam on it and leave it incomplete.

I just bought one called From Pea to Pumpkin.

It's really cute!

Barnes and Noble had a huge selection which was nice....I was able to flip through them all and decide which one I liked.

I bought "Hello I'm Pregnant", also very cute. Some full in the blanks and prompted questions but also a lot of blank diary entry pages.

I have been journaling my dreams on my computer.  I'm not used to remembering so many dreams and having them be so vivid.  It may not exactly be "cute" to look back on though.  Just this week the baby (the one I hope I will have) has been appearing instead of just being chased by tigers or other random stuff.

Hi all- following up, this is the journal I went with. I'm filling it out tonight and it's making me so emotional to think through the sweet prompts and thoughts we've had about having our baby. I highly recommend this one!

I just got a journal, not a pregnancy journal, from Marshalls. They have lots of cute and unique journals to choose from for like $5-10. It's really cute and says, "May the warmth of the Sun shine upon you always" on the cover. I've been keeping all my pregnancy notes in there and can't wait to share with my other pregnant friends or my children. I remember reading my mom's when I was little, and I thought it was so cool!

I bought a really cute, empty notebook/journal at Urban Outfitters after our first u/s. It took me about a month to feel comfortable enough to write in it though. I'm really excited to share all of these moments once baby is old enough to appreciate them one day

I got a pink journal I've been writing in since we started TTC over the summer.  I don't write in it every day - most days there isn't anything to say.  Usually I have an entry once or twice a week, whenever some notable pregnancy-related thing comes up.  I think it will be fun to read next time around so I can remind myself of how awful I felt and laugh at my former self.

I'm keeping a journal. I will gift it to my child once they become a certain age. Not to be a Debbie downer, but my mother passed when I was 9. My grandmother kept my mothers pregnancy journal, and gave it to me once she felt I was old enough. Its one of my most precious items I have. It was just amazing to read what was going through her mind, how she was feeling etc...

@Beeorange‌ Thank you dear. It's really amazing to have. I always told myself if I ever became pregnant, I was going to have one for my child. I think some of the best entries is when she wrote about my father being so scared and nervous. Because, if you looked at my father he is this tough guy personality, and to know he was melting at the heart is quite funny to me.
