Symptoms before you got your BFP?

Hello! I have a question for any of you who have been successful off of an IUI cycle. I'm on my second IUI cycle and I was bumped from 50mg to 100mg Clomid. I only had one mature follicle at the time of the procedure and MH sperm was normal-post wash was 16million with 69% motility. During the procedure I was definitely more relaxed than when I did it the first time. I tried to visualize and I have been so positive and distracted for the hated 2ww.

 But now I'm supposed to test on Friday, VERY tempted to take a test tomorrow though. Last night I started crying the ugly cry because I felt some period like cramping. The cramping continues on today, its not painful cramping but I'm definitely feeling something that I associate with getting AF...and in the last 14months I have never been wrong about getting AF.

I am somewhat confused though. I have been taking crinone as I did last failed iui. I ended up being late last month (I usually get AF on cd 28 or 29, but I got it on cd32) but I know that the progesterone gel can make you late.  

Anyways to get to my question, what were your symptoms before you got a BFP on an IUI cycle. I don't remember feeling like this last month so I feel like I am holding on to the hope of maybe the cramping being associated with pregnancy and not AF. I know the only way to know is to test but I figured I would rely on you ladies and your experiences. My boobs are KILLING ME they hurt all the time and feel ginormous, and then I am moody and emotional, and then I have the minor cramping thing going on. I just hate it because it sucks that AF and pregnancy symptoms are so much alike.

Any advice back would be great. Thanks!

With my successful IUIs, I was 100% positive that AF was on her way.  It was exactly like my period symptoms.  The cramping mostly.  I didn't even look at the pee stick, and was packing tampons for a trip I was leaving on that day.  Luckily MH wandered in and asked if that 2nd line was there before I peed on the stick.

Thanks for your feedback and congrats to all of you! I ended up testing this morning and I got a bfn:-( but the cramping isn't so much there today...at least so far. But I did wake up at 3 A.M. having to go pee and then I didn't take the test until 5:45 I wonder if I needed to take that test when I got up at 3. Gonna test again tomorrow, I'm holding on to the hope that I am pregnant and that the test today is wrong. I guess if not hopefully the next iui will be a success. Don't they say 3rd times a charm? Lol

My pregnancy was a result of IVF.
But I also had cramping and even spotted for 5 days (around the time my period was due) so I remember being a mess and trying to keep hopeful.

I had zero symptoms before either one of my BFPs.

Unfortunately AF symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are very similar.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant after my second IUI cycle. I swore blind AF was coming - loads of cramps and sore boobs. I also had a negative test (day 12 post IUI) as couldn't wait (feeling rather down as thought AF coming and just wanted to know) but tested too early! Day 14 post IUI early morning positive test :-). Fingers crossed for you x
