BTDT question for second time moms...

The TTC question has been weighing on me lately.  What is the spacing of your kids?  Do you like it? We're trying to decide between 2 years or 3 years apart.  I feel like were leaning towards 3, but we had always planned on 2.

I'm 10 weeks now so when baby #2 is born in May they will be 20 months apart

Mine are 18 mo apart and I do love how close they are. They play with each other all day long, make each other laugh in the car, and DD1 is a very protective big sister always looking out for DD2. With that being said, it was hard, especially the first 3 months and DD2 didn't sttn until 9 months and not even consistently bc she had teeth break through every other week. It seems like one if them is always up for something at night (teeth, sickness, bad dream ect) but I know that will get better. It's also hard to get out of the house with two kids but that has definitely gotten easier as well. I often think I didn't realize how easy I had it with one baby until I had 2u2. But with that being said, I wouldn't change a thing.

mine are 17 months apart.  While I do love it NOW it was really tough in the beginning.  Now they play together and love on each other and its great.  It still has its moments like when DS says "Two babies mommy" which means he wants me to carry both at the same time.  35lbs on one hip and 22 lbs on the other....ugh!  But I do it!  Also we didn't really have any jealousy issues until recently.  When they are that close they dont remember being an only child.  I think its only hard on DS right now because DD is reaching all these milestones like walking and talking etc and everyone is always making a big fuss over her so then he gets mad and acts out.  But I look forward to when they are one year apart in school.  I loved being in school with my brother and we were two years apart.

Almost 29 months exactly, so a little less than 2.5 years.  I like the spacing in that A was able to be more independent when E was born.

Mine are 4 years apart. I had my son at 34 and my daughter at 38. I have said before so far it had worked well. DS understands she is little is so excited to celebrate her milestones.

When we brought her home from the hospital he did ask to leave her in the car because she was loud :)

I think I waited longer than most for the 2nd because I just couldn't get my head in the game to take care of 2 people who needed all of my attention all the time.
