Swollen gums?

So Toots is being a hysterical mess.i checked the basics. Diaper, fed, and she had just gotten up from a nap. I check her gums regularly and they are usually both pretty rough. I can feel bumps and just plain hardness throughout. So I check them today and I noticed an immediate difference on the bottom. It was like soft and flat all the way across. And "slippery" I suppose. Best way for me to describe it. I gave her Tylenol as instructed by the nurse and it seems like it's helping, kind of. Could this be swollen gums?
