Having a good week. I've lost 20 lbs so far and am 10 away from my TTC goal! I've noticed I do best when I eat my big meal/dinner at lunch time and do something lighter for dinner.
Today I exercised even though I really didn't feel like it. Being consistent is really important for me or else I'll fall into bad patterns of being lazy.
Last weeks stunk for excerise.... none at all unless you counting walking out to my car from work. I have been lazy about counting my weight watchers points and it showed when I only lost .2 pounds. I need to get more into counting. I have been drinking a lot of water lately which is good. Sitting in meetings all day certainly help that.
I had water instead of pop and I am hoping for a run tonight (and not dieing from it)
The end of the 30day challenge was on Sunday. Though I did not lose lbs I did lose several inches all over. And I was able to do more situps and push ups than when I started. I signed up for the gym since I have to workout every day.
Next week starts the big challenge since I have to eat high protein and low carbs diet. I am going to want all the foods I cannot eat, so I am loading up now. I
Things are going well. I've been trying to at least hit the gym 3 times a week. I walked yesterday and today with a friend so that was nice. I also went to the gym for a half hour today and plan to go tomorrow and Friday, too. I've been trying to only drink water and coffee during the week and save my alcohol for one evening over the weekend
The last couple of weeks have been stressful so lots of chocolate has been consumed. I am barely running twice a week. I am afraid to step on the scale. Especially since I am just finishing up a happy meal with Alex. Headed for a run in a few minutes.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
:-h update here is that I've been eating well. I do however get very hungry around 8 or 9pm. Mostly because I eat dinner early (by 5). exercising is going well also Today I took a break because I ran the last 8 days straight. But will be back at it tomorrow 630am.
nice job, ladies! I'm eating pretty well these days (if I don't buy junk at the store, I don't eat it, so that helps), and just trying to get to yoga and the gym as much as I can. I started using MFP again most days to avoid random snacks here and there, and chugging water. I'm about 4 lbs above 2012 pre-preg weight but I am much more toned than I was then, so I think a lot of that is muscle from yoga! I'm solidly in the "athlete" zone for my body fat percentage, which feels pretty good
@mystererae, so sorry you are feeling stressed and depressed...is there any way to cut back on the different roles you are balancing, to find more of a happy medium? I hope something works out for you and it gets better.

I waited to post until today because I could not think of anything the other day that I had done to reach any goal of any sort.
But today I went for a run. My goal is to run 3x a week -- for fitness and health and stress relief.
I am consistently running twice a week, not three times.
I wish I could do three, but I am super busy at work and to go midweek means bringing clothes and shoes to campus and picking up the boys sweaty, and possibly running into students sweaty, and I just haven't committed enough to want to do all of that.
But the two runs have become regular enough that I no longer walk for any portion, not even the fifth hill that is really steep and comes about 2 miles in. I am also still indulging my sweet tooth. I haven't stepped on a scale for weeks, and don't really feel the need to do so. I think I am staying put about 5 pounds over where I would like to be, but not so much as to get my shit together for that third run or to stop eating cookies! There ends my long FFFC health & fitness check-in!

The run will be the good thing I do today.
