TTC AGAIN CHECK IN 10/8

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. 

A check-in will be posted every week. Please reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC. 

 

Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in.

TTC, without meds, hoping for a wonderful "surprise!"

Jessylane8- 10/1- 4dpo. Taking progesterone again this cycle even though it's probably a waste. I am so ready to go back to the RE. 

 

MrsAmyDylan-10/1- We officially scheduled with the RE on 10/20. That will be approximately CD6, so I don't know if I should call and see if they want to do a blood draw on 10/17 (CD3), so our doc will have more info for our consult.

 

Okitty-10/1-SAIF Lurker timidly stepping forward!: DH and I are somewhat trying for #2. DS is only 2 mos old today, and while I'm breastfeeding I realize our chances are low (no AF yet) but we aren't preventing. DS took 5 years and was a surprise during our adoption wait. We hope to be lucky and have an unmedicated BFP as we aren't up for any interventions. If not, we'll revisit our adoption plan when DS is 18 mos (per our agency's rule). 

 

Richzep-10/1-I've already ovulated for the month.  Doubt anything will come of our 1 night of sex during ovulation. I guess I'm in the 2 week wait.

TTC, with treatments

 

Chiwifey-10/1- Starting patches & ganirelix next Wed. Can't believe this cycle is so soon. I'm kind of ignoring the fact that it's about to start. Not ready to go to Crazy Town like I always do during IVF. 

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own.  Praying for that little miracle to happen.  You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha  I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own.  If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period.  Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating.  We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!  

fullfhope –9/24 first beta was Wednesday and was 68, positive, but fairly low and the nurse kept asking about bleeding and cramping, so of course I spent next 48 hours stressing and googling betas, today's was 229! Things are looking good, I go again on Tuesday. 

 

itsmevkb -8/20- We did the transfer last Monday of our one little frosty and everything went smoothly.  Yesterday I tested and got a positive.  I'm literally shaking typing that out.  I'm scared.  Scared of something going wrong, scared of having a crappy beta on Wednesday, scared of where in the world we're fitting another baby into our house, scared of just everything both good and bad.  

JBDamonm-10/1- I am going for my CD 21 bloodwork on Tuesday and if all goes well I'll start Lupron that night. Just waiting on the pharmacy to call me back with the costs of my meds and set up delivery.

 

Julie21613-10/1- Still on BCP till Saturday...then wait for some sort of spotting to occur....and will start Lupron that night.  Hoping to start Lupron Tues or Wed.  Will go in for b/w & u/s day after spotting begins.  Can't believe fresh cycle #6 is upon us!

 

KDR19179-7/16 I haven't been on the bump in awhile because I have been busy with the twins and work, but we are in the process of going back for our single frozen embryo. We don't tell many people IRL when we are going through IVF cycles, so I would love to talk about it somewhere! CD day 1 was July 10, I saw the RE on Monday. I'm taking estradiol 2mg 3x daily. I go back on 7/21 for an ultrasound and blood draw. The embryo transfer is scheduled for 7/28. We only have 1 embryo left and it has about a 65% chance of surviving thaw. If it survives thaw, it has a 27-30% chance of pregnancy. I love swimming, but don't get to do it much. I never thought I would want a pool until we had kids. If we had a pool, I think I would swim every day in the Summer!

 

 

mnj05 – 10/1-Still on estradiol, bumping up to 3 times a day Friday, next lining check is a week from today. 

 

MoFree –10/1- I start Lupron next week in preparation for FET some time in mid-November. We still have not decided whether to transfer both embryos or just one.

Phishgirl29- 10/1- FET cycle underway. Transfer on Tuesday!!!!

 

Pinkmickey24-9/17 Cycle 3 is underway. Going to sit down and chat with DH about when we should return to the RE. I want to cycle August/September again because a May/June baby if all works out is much nicer on a teacher's schedule, but I would be grateful for a baby at anytime in the year.

 

Racheyt0227-10/1- FET today! Beta check on 10/13. 

 

Run20K-10/1- My next FET is scheduled for 11/18

 

STL34-10/1-I will be ordering meds for IVF #6 soon and will get my calendar next week!  I will be doing a long antagonist cycle (Ganirelix) starting a week after ovulation.  They are going to have me on Ganirelix for a while before we start stims.  I'm praying that the extended Ganirelix use (they are trying to fit me into a batch cycle without BCPs) will not hurt our chances.  A big part of my can't believe we are going this again!  

 

 

trigirl79 – 10/1- As of Sunday 2 good follies on the right, a few smaller on the left. Triggered with IUI Tuesday. Sperm count 29 million, motility 89%. Beta on 10/15...so now I wait and hope!

WadzFaith-10/1- I start my Lupron shots tonight, then waiting for my period to go for baseline (probably around 8th or 9th).

Efhoping2010-10/1 Still playing the waiting game for IVF #4, it looks like we will not have housing in our new state until January so likely more IVF delays   As if my body will wait to get even worse 

 

Bellalou – 10/1 Back from my hiatus. Spike with RE today and made an appt to see him next month. Finances are all in order from them screening me over with my FET and I'll finally be in network, again, for future surgeries that I'll need.

 

Kaf7-10/1- Nothing new here. Have an appointment on Monday with my GP to get my STI testing done and see if we can arrange a sis locally. I am putting off calling the pharmacist about what dose of DHEA they want me on...I need to be on it for a few months before I cycle but I don't want to be on it longer than I have to so I am trying to time it just right. Plus I am hormental even without any meds on board. Did anyone else know that PMS can get worse in your early 30s??

I am in my 2ww for my FET. Beta is on the 13th. I am testing daily & still negative (4dp6dt) I know it's still ealry, but it makes me nervous as well. Hoping I get a positive by tomorrow or Fri AM the latest.

Got a + HPT! Beta # 1 = 179.

FET transfer was yesterday. I Took today off from work to take it easy. We transferred 1 embryo. I test next Thursday.

QOTW: I have no idea! Probably books or food.

Hey everyone!! So excited to be back! Having some trouble updating my siggy but currently TTC#2...FET scheduled 10/27!! On Lupron now (done with OCP's) and go in for baseline US tomorrow! DD#1 born 2/12/14 a day after my birthday! The best gift ever!! 8lbs 11oz 20" via section because of breech positioning.

I am about to head out for a blood draw to see where my cycle is.  I should be ovulating soon (I haven't gotten a positive OPK yet, though) and I will start ganirelix one week after ovulation.  My calendar review is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and we will order meds then.  Ugh!  Not sure where the money is going to come from!

Hi all.... took last bcp Saturday and started spotting today.  Called nurse and I start my lupron (I'm doing the MDLF protocol) tonight and go in for baseline u/s tomorrow.  If all goes well, please God, I start stims tomorrow night.  Yikes... can't believe its starting again.  I'm actually surprised how calm I am today.  Talk to me when monitoring starts and I"m sure that will change! :-)

I had a lining check today and all is well. I have some blood work tomorrow and if that comes back fine, I'll be on track for FET next Wednesday.

I started my Lupron yesterday and will go in for my first monitoring appointment next week when my period shows. I'm an emotional mess. I'm SO cranky today. While I expect it's PMS (I normally would get my period on Sat).....I certainly hope it's not the drugs already messing with me. I also really hope this works because I'm already questioning if I could actually handle having to do it again. Ugh. QOTW - IPad'

I am still waiting for my period, I guess the Lupron can delay the cycle. (I don't remember it doing it last time though). I am getting anxious and want to get to the ER and ET!

Does anyone else feel like their husbands are not as "present" as the first go around. I have to remind mine every night that it is time to do the shot...it is starting to hurt my feelings (or maybe its the drugs )

I had my retrieval yesterday.  I'm completely shocked.  They got 8 eggs and 6 of them fertilized.  That's more than my first 2 cycles combined.  Now I'm hoping for some good growth.

Found out today I can't get my sis done locally so another 10h of driving is in my near future to have it done at the RE. They also can't compound the DHEA locally so that has to get sent on a bus here each month. I didn't have a chance to enquire further about who is sending the tank to pick up our sperm. 

QOTW: maybe my iPad if there was wifi. If not, then a bookcase full of my favourite books.

FET is Wednesday! Everything with my lab work looked perfect so we're moving right along!

DH is leaving for his new job next week.

I will move too once we find housing.

I am hoping when I visit him since I will need to fly into Denver I can have my pre-IVF #4 testing done, so hopefully November.
