DH noticed that LO sucessfully gnawed off the silicone tip of her soft spouted cup, so with such sharp molars, we're forced into a change.
Have used the hard strawed take n tosses & the hard spouted take n tosses, but am not fans of them due to LO liking them for gnawing purposes & worry about that thin lip of plastic breaking/cutting her when put under the pressure of her jaws. Am thinking we just go to a real cup, but will need something for in the car that can have a lid so I can store it in my purse & doesn't spill. Want easy to clean (dishwasher safe, few parts) & semi-readily available not uber expensive. Saw some options at Target but LO was reaching for them and cranky so didn't have opportunity to analyze for practicality.
Also, anyone have issues with their LO gnawing through the soft sillicone straws that come on straw cups?
My sister uses those Tupperware drink containers that have the flip spout thing. Most grocery stores have them by the plastic bags and stuff. Relatively inexpensive, don't leak. Those might work for you.
We mostly use straw cups but also have a wow cup. A wow cup might be a good idea if your LO is into biting straws. It is really good about not leaking too as long as you don't over fill it past the line.
@jsoubel - cups like these? cdn.mumsgrapevine.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/MumsGrapevine_Tupperware.jpg
Haven't looked in that asile lately. will look next time at store. we have 2 of these cups though for the grownups.
@Jackiemxoxo - we actually have a wow cup (somewhere) I think it was at this point in time last year when we got it. Searched the house for it, but could only find where I had stashed the cup (no lid or seal ring).
