OT: Anyone else switch from iPhone to Android?

Well, I had an Android a few years ago but it was a cheapo one that I didn't care for. I had a phone crush on the iPhone5 and went ahead and got it. Overall, I've liked the phone and all but I am not loyal to Apple whatsoever. Now that the Galaxy Note 4 is coming out, I have a new phone crush and NEED to have this phone. I pre-ordered it yesterday and it should hopefully be here by the end of the month. But now I am worried that it will be weird switching to Droid after being on iPhone for 2 years.

So does anyone have the Galaxy Note 3 and want to share their thoughts?

Anyone else go from iPhone to Android and love it? hate it? Anything else I need to know?

DH had a Galaxy Note 2 and absolutely hated it. It slowed wayyyy down after about a year. So badly that sometimes he couldn't even take calls on it. His iPhone 6+ arrived today and he is like a little boy on Christmas morning. 

Granted, he is an Apple fanatic and only originally went with the android because of it's larger size. I am so thrilled he got his new phone and I don't have to hear him bitching about the android anymore.

I had the iphone before I got on the android system! I'll say the iPhone was by far more friendly user but I like that there's more options with the android system. I'm getting close to my upgrade and can't figure out what I want next!

Oh yeah this too! DH's phone would die halfway through the day even when he wasn't using it a ton!!!

DH had the note 3 and I just switched from the iPhone 5 to the galaxy s5. I personally prefer android but it took me a good week to get used to again. I think it would be like that wroth any new phone though.

Went from an iPhone to the Note 2. Never going back! I love the stylus and am able to do most of my work from my phone. I also really like the "Swype" feature on the keyboard. I've played with the Note 3 and 4. I think it looks really cool!

I've used both, although I have had Galaxies for a while. Android is more powerful and customizable. iPhone has better apps. You pays your money (and you takes your choice)

I love love love my galaxy s4, and my husband's iphone drives me nuts. He really likes Apple products, but has said lately that my phone is "cooler." I think Apple sometimes over-simplifies with the one button idea and makes things harder. I really like Guided Access on iPhone and the kid's restrictive feature (can't remember the name?) in the s5 because it keeps DD on her apps and out of my email!

I swapped from a iPhone 4s to a galaxy s5 active it took some getting used to but I love my galaxy!

I went from the galaxy 4 to the iPhone 5s and love it so much more! Fwiw I think the phablets look very silly when people pull them out. They are just so large.

I love my galaxy phone my iPhone didn't do much for and I didn't own a apple computer so it didn't make much sense to keep it. I love the Samsung and it has all my files from my computer and does a lot more for me than the iPhone did

I went from an iPhone to android (LG G2) about a year ago. I hated it. I found it difficult to do the simplest things on the android. I had to download extra apps to do things my iPhone had built into the OS.

I switched back to my iPhone 5 last week. It's so much nicer and easier to use.

Of course, everyone is different.
