I'm posting tonight instead of tomorrow morning because I'll be in a work seminar all day tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be checking TB periodically, but I will be mobile, so wanted to make sure I got this post up tonight. 

Welcome to Ladies In Waiting. This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions. 

-Check in is every Wednesday- New members: Post an intro and your current TTC status. - Current members: Post updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, requests for T&Ps. - Weekly check-in's will include an inspirational quote.

Please do not worry if your name is not on the check in, I only put those that participated in the previous check in. Please make sure that if you get a BFP to PM me. I try to check PGAL, but sometimes I may miss it.

@bookishMomma  How are you beautiful Lady?? You've been in my thoughts! When is your IUI scheduled for?

Today is CD13 and I started doing OPK's yesterday. I'm checking three times a day and all negative but I have a ton of clear but sticky CM. I'm guessing this is a good sign that the clomid is working. I am also so incredibly horny..luck DH!! My temping has lined up a 100% with my temps from last month starting at CD9 so if they continue then there is a chance I could O on my own this coming Saturday. My monitoring session is scheduled for Friday afternoon so everything may be falling into place! If it looks like the egg(s) are preparing to release on their own I am not sure if I will need to do the trigger, time will tell! In the meantime DH and I will continue with sex every other night!

AFM CD33 and still no AF. I tested again on CD31 and BFN. WTF body, get yourself figured out! I'm holding out more testing until the end of this week. I keep thinking AF is arriving, and go check and nothing. So yeah....
How long do you wait for AF to show before you go to the doctor? Is it 60 days? Should I go sooner only because I had a d&c in July and have had periods since then, so could something be wrong?

I had a great time at the wedding.  I drank a *little* too much, but it was nice.  I had been so fixated on TTC and it was nice to let loose and forget about it for a while.  

Now I'm just waiting to O and getting back in the groove of temping after the crazy weekend.

@bookishmama‌ thanks for the check in! I think you might have hit the nail on the head when you mentioned cheapie OPKs giving you nothing then bam! positive. Suddenly this morning it was definitely darker and the one I took around 12:30 was darker still. I'm going to test one more time before bed and hopefully tomorrow will bring a positive!

AFM: We are on our third Clomid/Novarel/TI cycle. I am not sure what our plan will be after this cycle if it's a bfn. I am just starting the Clomid this go round. MIL's surgery is tomorrow, so that is going to be loads of fun. Please, understand, I am not complaining about MIL, I am complaining about the ridiculous amount of family coming out of the wood works! It's crazy! Our house is going to be grand central station for the foreseeable future, something I am really not looking forward to. Mom will be getting ready to leave the hospital and go into a nursing home. She is fire-hopping mad about that! My next few months are going to be crazy at best. ((Hugs)) and love ladies!!

@natalie115 GL! One other thing I forgot to mention is that, for me, the test line never gets darker than the control on cheapie OPKs. The 2 lines get to be the same color, which is what I consider a positive.

@denamaree We'll be doing IUI next cycle. Right now I'm just starting the 2ww in our "last hurrah" cycle of trying naturally.

@ldubhawksfan this is soooo me when I'm temping. I can never manage to do it at the same time each day. But somehow FF still manages to figure out an O date, usually. Hope that's the case for you, too.

@ashtog sorry about the BFN. If you can hold out until AF is late before you test again, I say go for it! If only we all possessed the willpower to do that... being busy helps, though.

@sunshineshades I believe it's around the 6 week mark when people say to call your doctor if you haven't gotten AF. But I went 70 days after my D&C before I got my period back and never called, so I'm not one to be dishing out advice on that topic!

Haha. What you think is cute, I find annoying. That may or may not be AF and the Clomid talking. It is sweet he wants to do it too, I just wish we weren't host to the crazy that is his family.

Thanks for the check in! I was a little less "tender" when I started to focus on work at internship. I've got an hour drive to and from internship, so there's a lot of time to sit with my thoughts - sometimes that's good, sometimes not so much. Even with all that time I couldn't quite pick out a predominant thought of what was making me low. I wasn't even that low, just a little raw. idk how to explain it. Maybe its AF coming? She was supposed to show her ugly face on the 6th, but no signs as of yet. I'm confused. But then again this is my first charted cycle since delivery. who knows.

@LDubHawksFan exactly! my chart has so many open circles! Only because I changed my time 30 minutes earlier halfway through the chart, but it still drives me nuts. 

@megrae12 oh goodness sounds like its going to be a riot over there! 

@ashtog , ((big hugs)) on your bfn. I'd probably wait a little longer before testing. Enjoy your slowed down weekend that sounds lovely. 

@SunshineShades , Sorry your AF is being wonky. I'm CD 32 and I'm doing the same thing. It may just be our cycles being weird due to it being the first full cycle after birth. 

@CreechMommy , glad you got a chance to "get away" a little bit!

@bookishmama‌ I'll have to wait and see if it actually gets darker. If it only gets the same color I would count that as positive too. The one I took an hour ago was so close to the same color.

@forevermyfenix - I know exactly what you mean. I have a long commute every day and the alone time in the car can really be too much sometimes, your mind can wander to dark and sad places. Hope AF shows up soon for you! (hugs)

AFM, yay for CHs at CD14 and a postive OPK at CD13! Now I am just waiting for AF. This is our last cycle TTA so I'm anxious for AF to arrive but according to FF I had a short LP last cycle. Since it was my first post-loss cycle I'm hoping it was just my body readjusting and that I have a longer LP this cycle. So while I want AF to show, she better not come around until CD27 or 28!

Can I join back in here? At first I was waiting for my first AF so we could TTC ... And after she showed, I thought I didn't belong here anymore. But then had to WTO, and now I'm in my TWW. So I guess this TTC lifestyle is truly based completely around WAITING and pretty much everyone belongs here. I'm currently 7 dpo and plan to hold of till Sunday to test (12 dpo). My DHs birthday is next Wednesday and think a BFP would be he best gift I could give him

@heartbot I've only been charting two cycles.  The first time I O'd CD 14 the second time it was CD 17.  So my guess is somewhere around there lol.

AFM FF moved my O date a day later from what it had last week. So I'm now at 11DPO. I had tested yesterday (thinking it was 11DPO at that point) and got a BFN. Planning to retest on Friday if I don't have AF by then. Even though our timing was good, I still don't feel good about it this month but I'm trying to stay optimistic. Luckily both H and I have work off on Friday, so whether I get a BFN or BFP or if AF shows up, I'm glad we have the day off to relax or celebrate, or maybe do a little wine tasting if it's a no-go. So, is it Friday yet?

Hi ladies - I'm joining you this week!  It has been two weeks exactly since we had our heartbreaking ultrasound and tomorrow will be two weeks since my D&C.  I have my follow up tomorrow.  My OB did suggest already that he'd like us to wait 3 months before TTC again and I've got mixed feelings.  My cycles are very irregular and it took us 2 years to get pregnant with this one.  The waiting is not what I wanted to hear, but I get it.  I feel like I've been waiting and waiting already.  DH and I talked about it and we want to try to get back in a routine of going to the gym and eating healthy and just taking care of ourselves right now, once our 3 months is up we can have a 'fresh start' as he says.

@petitchou1019 this will actually be my 3rd AF since my D&C. My hcg levels were back to zero around August 22nd. My first cycle was 20 days, then 28. Though it's possible that that was all one cycle (48 days) and the 1st period wasn't actually one, that it was left over bleeding from my d&c. But both my MW and doctor said it sounded like it was probably my period and I would know if it arrived at the right time the following month. Bah, confusing lol.

@bookishmama‌ we are hoping to try this cycle but I need to get a root canal and as well my DH thinks his infection is back. I didn't think the antibiotic for 2 weeks was enough. So frustrated. So not sure right now. Want to try ASAP. Every time I see a newborn on tv I break into tears.

@heartbot I don't know if the root canal us an issue but I get very nervous with these things and also worry about the X-rays and meds. DH will be seeing another doctor on Friday about his infection. I feel like I am being punished and maybe rightly so since I've been in a bad mood and not always nice to people since my m/c. I need to be better. I'm an adult and need to act better even when things don't go my way.

@lovemybellag‌ I work in a root canal specialist's office. Getting a root canal, even with having X-rays, should have no impact on TTC so please don't stress about it. They aren't necessarily fun, but they aren't usually the horror stories people talk about.

The bench has BEEN burned! We're in the TWW. I'm not feeling too optimistic this round....maybe it's because it's our first and I'm nervous. I remember just "knowing" when we were Pg. I'm 9 DPO, so I'm guessing it's too early to tell. My BBT is still really high (first month using FF) so we'll see. I'm optimistic!

I'm also waiting for a big weekend. My hubby is seeing a therapist for the first time to deal with the residual emotions from the MC so I'm anxious to see how he does and what he thinks of it.

@kreardon11 Yay for burning the bench! I know exactly how you feel. I felt super sure that I was pregnant with my first BFP and this is our first cycle trying again and I'm 12DPO now but just don't feel like this is the one. Trying to be hopeful but I just don't feel like I did last time.

DH totally took one for the team last night LOL I know he still wasn't feeling great, but he pulled through temp jumped up this morning so while I don't have cross hairs I'm pretty sure I'm in the 2ww wait. I'm going to try and be good and not test until AF is actually late (13dpo) but we all know how that goes!

Brass? It is our 16th wedding anniversary and our 21st together. They are the same date. If we go by the wedding it is hollow silver. We will probably take a trip.

Hello all,
I am new. TTC'ing #1 for 11 months with two losses. I am 38 and DH is 44. My second loss was just two weeks ago with twins--after we saw a heartbeat, so I didn't recover from that one yet. I have to wait with TTC again till I have a period (which will be a while I guess since I still don't have a negative pg test).
I am so glad this group exists, and hope we can help each other out during the waiting. I can sympathize with all the ladies waiting to miscarry, because I waited for almost two weeks before I started bleeding.

@kreardon11 fingers crossed for you in this TWW. I'm glad your DH is willing to see someone to help sort out his emotions. Many men are resistant to admitting they need help.
