sleep hell...traveling s/o

We both work but for the last two months my husband has been traveling across the country a couple days a week. Usually Tues-Fri. He normally doesn't have to travel this much for his job (he's in IT but they're doing a major update that he has to be there in person). Things go back to normal the end of this month.

Sleep wise DS has been awful. Crying himself to sleep (with me checking in on him periodically), resisting bedtime, resisting naps.....

I can tell he misses his dad a lot. I have an app that lets us video chat with DH but my service out where I live is terrible so it's really choppy.

Any advice from those who travel a lot or their s/o does?

    Aww..your son is so cute! My husband is in IT, too J. My son was like that when he was 2 (now he’s 4, time sure flies), whenever DH is not home to kiss him goodnight. I remember replaying voice messages from the DH, keeping his photo or t-shirt beside his pillow while he sleeps, which worked for my son. Hope this helps!
