Have any of you tried pregnitude? I'm taking it along with metformin for the first time this cycle. My period was much more normal, like medium flow, where normally I have to wear overnight pads the entire week. I just really want to O and I'm hoping someone has had a good experience with it.

Yes, I've read it's supposed to help with egg quality as well! Good luck to you!

I had read it was really successful  in women with PCOS, so I did try it for a couple of months. Even though my RE was not so sure about the success rates, he called it "merely a supplement." I started taking it around the same time I started Metformin, I did O but not consistently. I can not say for sure if the times I O'd was because of the Pregnitude or the Metformin. But I kind of stopped taking it because of the price and the hassle with ordering the product online. If I could pick it up in stores I probably would consistently take it. Good luck!

I never O on my own. I've only been able to pinpoint O one time in 5 years. And at that time i was consistently taking Metformin and eating a Paleo diet.

I don't have PCOS and am not taking any meds currently but I am taking Myo-inositol which is the main ingredient in Pregnitude...4 grams per day, along with folic acid and melatonin.  It is supposed to help egg quality for IVF.  I started this routine in August so I don't have any long term success stories to offer you but I know that I did O this past cycle (albeit on CD 33) and I just got my first AF on it and I have to say I am really pleased with AF as well...it seems normal and healthy. I had been having wonky ones for years. I am really hopeful it has improved my egg quality and that I will O on time with a decent egg this cycle.   I recommend it since it hasn't seemed to hurt! I'm curious about the Melatonin, what is it supposed to do?

I have PCOS and took pregnitude during my IVF cycle to help with egg maturity (have been on metformin for almost 2 years). All my eggs that were retrieved were mature, so I feel like it helped but I can't say for sure if it was the main reason. I hope it helps you though!

Also it is like a little natural ambien. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I love it!

Sweet!! I used to take it at night to help sleep. I might get some more. Can't hurt!

I've been taking Pregnitude this cycle and have not notice any difference in my cycle, but I'm mainly taking it for egg quality. I'm going to read up on the meletonin. I read about Melatonin  in the book "It Starts with the Egg" but have been hesitant to take it since I take xanax xl at night....but since I'm benched until the end of the year I might just try it out!

I don't take Pregnitude, but I do take the main ingredient in it-inositol in powder form. I was diagnosed with PCOS in July and read about the studies on inositol helping with PCOS patients and also helping with egg quality. I am taking a 3 month break from medicated cycles right now. I started taking inositol last month and also started to chart my temps. This is the first cycle I have ovulated on my own in over a year and in the 2WW. Can't say for certain if it's due to the inositol, but I'm plan to continue to take it since it can't hurt!
