    I've never frickin had Columbus Day off... not even for school growing up that I can remember.  I'm annoyed because my DS's daycare is closed 10/13 to observe Columbus Day so I'll have to work from home that day with him.. 

    Not even my office calendar declares that day a holiday this year so ITS NOT REAL.  On Monday 10/13 it says "US Navy Birthday"

    Lies, daycare.
