Hi ladies
Just had to share the great news. I was diagnosed with a moderate subchorionic hematoma at 7 weeks and had spotting that was really scary. My doctor told me to take it easy, no exercise or sex and lots of rest, and to come back at 9 weeks for a follow up US. I took her advice, acted like a complete bum for the last two weeks, literally either sleeping or lying on the couch watching TV when I wasn't at work, and I even bailed on a wedding out of state because taking it easy for my baby's health was more important to me. At my US today we saw our beautiful little peanut, with a healthy heartbeat and no more subchorionic hematoma!!!! Over the last two weeks it completely went away

. No more SCH worrying for me. I wanted to share because mine was pretty big (I think the doctor said moderate to be nice but really it was a large one) and there is hope for all of us SCH sufferers.
Listen to your doctor, get lots of rest, don't take the scary stories online too seriously and, above all else, listen to your gut about what you should do to take care of yourself. Best of luck to all the mamas out there. May we all have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies!
