Ok, I've posted on here a couple of times already so I promise that this will be my last post...maybe. haha

My H and I have decided on Caroline Elise but since we aren't telling a soul until she arrives, I want to run it by someone to make sure it flows and sounds good in a sibset (DS is Samuel), etc. Our last name sounds similar to Whitmore. I know Caroline may be too popular for some, but we don't know a single one so we feel comfortable that she won't be one of 5 little Carolines in her class. Thank you in advance for your opinions, thoughts, etc!

I think it's very pretty. They are both classic names, you can't go wrong

I also think Caroline and Samuel go well together!

The only nit pick I have is that when saying Caroline Elise, it sounds just like Carolina Lease. So I wouldn't choose it myself, but no one will ever know her middle name. Also I have a southern accent so maybe that's why they run together for me.

I don't consider Caroline super popular. Even the #1 name likely won't have another kid in her class named the same thing. Name popularity just isn't what it used to be. Last year 3955 girls were named Caroline out of 1,909,205 that were born. So even though Caroline was the #63 in popularity, it was only given to .2% of newborns. That is 2 out of 1,000. So she may not even have another Caroline in her school depending on name trends where you live.
