New Here (OB/GYN Recommendations)

Hi All!

I'm new to this board (hopping over from the Infertility board). We just finished our first IVF and got a positive after 8 years of trying!! We're cautiously optimistic and we'll continue with our specialist for a few weeks yet, but I was hoping for some recommendations for OB/GYN's in the area. 

My Husband and I live in the North Suburbs and I currently go to North Park OB/GYN, but my favorite Dr. there retired back in March. Definitely looking for a practice in the North Hills area, if possible.

Can't help you since I'm searching for a new OB too, but I just wanted to say congratulations! My husband and I had our successful IVF last year, and we now have a healthy baby girl. It's the best feeling in the world after years of struggling. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

(Our fertility clinic recommended Dr. Jaja at Magee Womancare Associates. They have an office in Sewickley. Love him, but we have highmark insurance. Good luck with your search!)

If Sewickley isn't to far of a drive for you, I love Premier Women's Health, they delivered my last two and I had a great experience with both birth.  Currently seeing them for my third.

I really like my docs @ Advanced OBGYN.  They deliver out of Butler, and have offices in Cranberry and other locations.  (Not sure if that is too far North for you.)

Congratulations! I used to go to North Park OB/GYN, too, but left years ago to follow my favorite doctor, Dr. Mark Mallinger. I can't speak highly enough of his bedside manner and I completely trust him. He's in the West Penn Allegheny Health System now and has offices in the new medical Pavilion in Wexford and on Route 8 in Gibsonia. Best of luck to you!
