Would you go?

My neighbors have twin baby girls that are 2 months older than my LO. This week they will be turning one and will have a small birthday party.
The girls grandmother is also my MIL's friend. The grandmother called my MIL and invited her and my nieces to the party, she also told my MIL that my LO had to go because he plays withs the girls almost every day.
Well I didn't get and invitation or a phone call, not even a Facebook message. My DH thinks we shouldn't go cause we weren't formally invited. My MIL thinks that the way we were invited is enough and we should go.
What do you think? Would you go?

Re: Would you go?

  • I would just email the parent and double check that you're invited. Give the neighbor plenty of outs for not inviting you though, so she doesn't invite you just to be polite at this point...

  • So you were invited via your MIL who was told by the grandmother of the birthday girls to invite you? No other form of invite? div>

    This is exactly what happened.
