Second trimester & anti depressant meds

I am 24 weeks along, and the whole pregnancy went smooth, no morning sickness, very low risk and ultrasound looked great! But I'm prescribed an anti depressant and I feel that it's making me less hungry, and also more tired than before. Has anyone taken or is taking an anti depressant and had similar or any side effects?? I'm very concerned for the development from here on out for my baby.

Did you just start it? Those side effects are pretty common and usually subside within the first couple weeks. If you've been taking it since the beginning or before then it's unlikely your symptoms are caused by the medicine. These are questions you really need to ask your doctor.

I am on an anti depressant and am not concerned as I thoroughly discussed the risks vs. benefits with both my OB and my PCP. My anxiety gets too bad and I've felt too good to stop taking my medicine. I did have some sleepiness and headaches in the beginning, but I take it at night to combat those and now don't have any side effects that I know of.
