What bit my babe?

Anyone have any idea what bug does this? We live in the triad, it's been warm lately and we were out for a while yesterday. She had an identical one back in June that the ped gave a antibacterial cream for. It took two weeks to clear up. I bathe her nightly and never saw a tick or anything. She has fairly sensitive skin. This is our first summer/early fall here. We are from up north and I'm not used to all the bugginess- I'm actually pretty phobic when it comes to bugs. We have a dog but keep her on top of the line flea & tick meds. Thanks!
