dipping my toe in...an intro (loss and rainbow mentioned)

Hi ladies! I have been lurking for a while and am feeling ready to intro seeing what a warm and supportive group you all are!

A little background, I am 37 and DH is 45. We met 12 years ago, been married 6 years. I have two step sons ages 16 and 13. DH and I have a 3.5 year old together.

We initially thought we were done having children but here lately we are talking about having one more. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.

I'm not sure how it will go this time now that I'm AMA (don't you just love that *eye roll*). In the past getting pregnant wasn't the issue but staying pregnant proved a challenge. After four losses we saw an RE who diagnosed my blood clotting issues, prescribed a twice daily injected blood thinner, and we were blessed with our DS.

I was pretty active on TB previously and am looking forward to getting to know you all and hopefully get to support you on your journey as well.

A little about me:
I live in CO
I love wine (and beer too!)
I have a wiener dog fur baby
I love being outside
I wish I lived closer to the ocean

As an after thought I sincerely hope that I didn't upset/put anyone off by saying getting pregnant wasn't an issue for us historically. I know so many who are trying so hard just to get pregnant. I don't want to be insensitive and that's another reason I waited so long to intro.

    Welcome to the board! I don't think anyone will be offended by that. We're a pretty calm group (it's the maturity :) )

    Hi and welcome. Best wishes TTC.
     I'll be 37 at the end of the year, when hopefully we'll be TTC #3. At the moment we're benched for health reasons.

    Welcome! I've found this group to be super supportive and helpful so far -- but I do hope your stay is short! Good luck!

    7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
    3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
    12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
    First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
    Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)

    Welcome and good luck!  Your intro is fine and it seems silly, but AMA, even by a few years changes our bodies more than you would think.  Hopefully you will have the same success this time around as you did with your DS.

    Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014.  Never ending cycle starting end of Sept... 
    11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues 
    12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle")  OBGYN had no clue... about anything 
    01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so  possibly straight to DE and IVF 

    Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).

    TTC#1, I'm 37, DH 36 | Just started trying Sept 2014
    Going in for first RE appt. in October...Preparing for good or bad news. 
    Trying to be chill about the process...and not get too intense about it all. 
    It's hard to be chill.

    Welcome! I'm in NH, but I love Colorado! I have family there and try to make it out 1-2x a year. I strategically visit in the winter so that I can ski, you have the best snow! Lol
