Gender: What do you think??

Sweet DH took me to get a gender US for my birthday. I am 16w2d. The tech said she was 85% sure...but kept saying yes, she was right. But, she wants us to come back next week for a free recheck. So...what do y'all think?? I don't see a 'turtle'...but no definite 'lines' either...

  • Gender....sex...same thing. Doesn't matter the terminology. Just thought I might get some support on here...

Wow. Appalled by how rude people are on here. Pregnancy is a happy thing, and we should be supporting each other, not tearing each other down for asking for opinions. Too many rules on this forum. Which is why I stopped using it in the first place. Thought I'd give it a second shot...guess I was wrong.

Also trolling and moved to classic "you are mean" blame games and whiny faux sympathy pandering.

Whilst educating yourself, you should also read google articles on how to be an effective troll, as you are not pulling it off. :)
  • Barefaced trolling. All statements are calculated and intentional. Move along.

  • Sorry I just thought it would be fun to get some opinions. I know none of us are US technicians. JUST WANTED TO HAVE FUN. I apologize that I am apparently ignorant. This group is not worth wasting my time on. Who really has the time to read everything everyone posts? I know I sure don't. I'd rather spend my time with my DH and DS's than read snarky comments from people I'll never meet. Get a life.

I just posted something similar and the comments are absolutely insulting and quite juvenile from some members if you ask me. Some of these "women" on here I don't think even need to be parents. I'm leaving this forum too. I don't blame you one bit!

No one has been rude to your or "torn you down". You actually got polite answers to your question. Don't be mad that no one wants to play a game with you. The only one behaving rudely or appallingly is you.

So ladies, does anyone know where I can get fried cheesecake? Dang I want it so badly now! Or is there something better?

  • ^^^ wow! Disgusting. I'm imaging some obese ugly girl sitting on a couch eating ice cream and screaming at her kids right now. That's how negative, pathetic, and desperate for a life you people all sound
  • @rm2013‌ here in Houston an alarmingly large number of sushi restaurants have tempura cheesecake with strawberry and/or raspberry sauce.

I don't know if that's a thing or not- but worth checking out?

  • @hollmb‌
That depends. Do we get to guess your gender based on the angle of your dangle, or the color of your undies?

Haha either way! Or maybe if I just draw you a crude, general outline of my skull you guys can guess what I identify myself as and my preferred mating methods.

    Edit because words.

Yes. A thread in which we divine everyone's favorite sexual position/activity based on people's drawings of their skulls. I would play that game. It sounds super scientific.

We could just hijack the next "guess my baby's gender" thread and turn it into that! I'm totally game.
If nothing else it makes more sense than asking what your baby is going to do with their crotch. At least this way we will be able to confirm or deny without having to wait 15 years.

Well, since you asked...Now that my app says little baby measures 4", I can't help but imagine a little tap dancing leprechaun inside me. Can't wait to feel movement to add to the mental image! ;)

I now cannot get the leprechaun fetus imagery from my head. I have a feeling that's exactly what she looks like right now... Minus the beard... And pipe... That'd be weird, though, because they totally complete the look.
  • @jacqueleen1 I said u/s tech earlier too - thanks for the correction! I had actually typed ultrasonographer first & erased it thinking it was wrong.

  • Same thing happened to me... Got attacked for asking a simple question. Don't take it personally, they're just cranky. Enjoy your pregnancy!!:)

Why is it "women"? Why the accusatory quotations?
