Gender: What do you think??

Sweet DH took me to get a gender US for my birthday. I am 16w2d. The tech said she was 85% sure...but kept saying yes, she was right. But, she wants us to come back next week for a free recheck. So...what do y'all think?? I don't see a 'turtle'...but no definite 'lines' either...

Wow. Appalled by how rude people are on here. Pregnancy is a happy thing, and we should be supporting each other, not tearing each other down for asking for opinions. Too many rules on this forum. Which is why I stopped using it in the first place. Thought I'd give it a second shot...guess I was wrong.

This is trolling and done as an amateur at best.

However, please educate yourself; gender and sex are not the same thing and is quite offensive to some, just as developmentally disabled and retard are not the same thing, and my guess is you'd never think of using the latter term.

Rarely do I post negative comments on this forum, if ever, but holy cow this particular horse has been beaten so thoroughly that it's no longer recognizable and my tolerance for ignorant trolling is about at zero.

This group is not worth wasting my time on. Who really has the time to read everything everyone posts? I know I sure don't. I'd rather spend my time with my DH and DS's than read snarky comments from people I'll never meet. Get a life.

People were honest & matter-of-fact. Not rude, not "tearing each other down." Gender & sex describe different things. We are not ultrasound techs. Those are important facts. You want rainbows & kittens, go to baby center. You want support, get a bra. You want camaraderie with brains & a bit of sass, stick around. But lurk a bit, read the stickies, & adapt to the culture -- you can't change it by whining about how it's not what you want.

I just posted something similar and the comments are absolutely insulting and quite juvenile from some members if you ask me. Some of these "women" on here I don't think even need to be parents. I'm leaving this forum too. I don't blame you one bit!

Well, since you asked...Now that my app says little baby measures 4", I can't help but imagine a little tap dancing leprechaun inside me. Can't wait to feel movement to add to the mental image!

We could just hijack the next "guess my baby's gender" thread and turn it into that! I'm totally game.
If nothing else it makes more sense than asking what your baby is going to do with their crotch. At least this way we will be able to confirm or deny without having to wait 15 years.

I now cannot get the leprechaun fetus imagery from my head. I have a feeling that's exactly what she looks like right now... Minus the beard... And pipe... That'd be weird, though, because they totally complete the look.

We prefer sonographer over ultrasound tech thank you. And since I am in fact a sonographer I can still tell you that is a bad pic and have no idea what your child is
