Question re:when you handle a food your lo is allergic to

When you handle a food that your lo is allergic to, what precautions do you take to ensure they aren't exposed? My daughter can't have straight eggs, bit is fine with them in baked goods. We keep eggs in the house and I still bake. So far I've been diligent about washing in soap and hot water before going near her afterwards, and she's been fine, but I'm wondering if I should be doing anything else. Thanks!

DS is allergic to sesame. The only time we have anything with sesame in the house is when he is away for a sleepover at my IL's and we're treating ourselves (usually to sushi). We are very careful when we eat (not to go touching stuff), wash our hands before doing anything and then wash everything really well.
