Cold weather gear

Living in the Midwest I am already cutting this close but where are the best places to get cold weather gear for our lo's? Daycare will need the full getup- coat, pants,boots, hat, gloves/mittens so I will have to buy 2 sets. I am debating on a cheaper set to leave at daycare.

I just found a bunch at children's place. And on sale too it was the only place I could find snow pants small enough and boots he had tiny feet

Most of the boys' winter gear is from Meijer. I think they're only in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, & Kentucky though. Their coats & lined pants are great. I'm actually reusing DS1s items for DS2.

The Gap has the best hats & mittens though and the Children's Place is my go to for fleece.

We don't have very cold weather here, but I always look for snow clothes at the thrift store and have had good luck

For DD2 I got snowpants for 2 bucks and a carters jacket for 8 from a mom to mom sale, both looked brand new. I still need boots for her.

For DD1, we still have her lands end snowpants and jacket from last winter which Im hoping will last at least until after the holidays when stuff goes on sale.  She'll definitely need new boots though, the kid grows like a weed! I am not sure where I'm getting boots, I have been looking around here and there, but they are so dang expensive.
