Thank You (BFP Mentioned)

Well, it seems too good to be true and I can't believe I am writing this already but my RE just called with my blood test results from this morning and said "CONGRATULATIONS!" I was like..."Wait, really?" My beta numbers were great and she just said, "Keep doing what you're doing and we'll see you for a followup on Monday" So yeah...BFP. The 2WW was super stressful, and the treatment had me down in the dumps for a while, but it appears it was all worth it. Thank you for your support and for being a sounding board during a time that was difficult and sensitive, and best of luck to all of you ladies. I am considering myself a very lucky duck, and I am truly in disbelief right now! I'm writing this here before even telling my mother, because I am still kinda nervous that it will "stick". Here's hoping everything goes well with this little poppyseed. Have a nice weekend!

I'm in a mood today, but this is a perfect example of why joining a board mid-cycle is frowned upon on a lot of TB TTC boards. You've been here two weeks, have a handful of posts, and now you're posting a BFP.

Congratulations. I truly hope you have an easy, uneventful pregnancy, but this just rubbed me the wrong way.

Congratulations! I know you've been through a lot. Just when you find us / we find you, it's time to move on - but what an awesome blessing. Glad you have a strong beta, and enjoy your first weekend with baby "poppyseed!"

Ditto @BethKate2‌, I don't even recognize this person. @dos30‌ not that I am not happy for you, but being someone who is about to start IVF, it rubbed me the wrong way also. I have been giving and receiving support on this board for almost 6 months and this is the first time I 've seen a post by you.. Good luck.

@Hollowvic, when I looked at the OP's post history, it looks like she was called out by @iputketchuponketchup recently for intro'ing, disappearing, and then coming back with her own personal questions. She really hasn't been very active on the board at all, and that's what bugs me.

I am very happy for pp on here that get their BFPs, don't get me wrong, but when you're just someone who showed up out of nowhere, it is in poor taste. It bugged me too.
