in Pregnant after a Loss
Hi all! I am newly pregnant, 4wks 6days. My most recently loss was three years ago. I am a nervous wreck. We have been waiting to try because it was quite difficult for both of us. My OB has been monitoring my HCG levels very closely since my positive HPT. Please advise if anyone has experienced numbers similar? The nurse seems to think they are not rising fast enough. They will re-draw next Thursday and u/s on Friday.
Here are my betas:
3wks 5days: 35
4wks 2days: 73
4wks 5 days:192

Progesterone was 12.2 at 3wks 5days and I was put on suppositories... It was 20.2 at 4wks 5days. I'm happy with that but worried about the HCG. Help!

    Congrats and welcome!  There seems to be a wide range of expected doubling times... 31-72 hours.  Best wishes for you that they keep going up!! :)

    No advice on the hcg numbers but I wouldn't worry about it too much especially if your OB isn't concerned. (I know - easier said than done). Congratulations and welcome :)

    Early betas are funny. There are many women here who have had slow starter and then bam! All the sudden they triple or quadruple. Could be late implantation. Perfectly reasonable explanation. Mine was nowhere near what they wanted and then all the sudden went from 6k to like 20 something k (at that point they went to ultrasounds for monitoring).
