Prometrium side effects

I read the rx side effects, but can anyone who has take this tell me what you experienced? TIA

I've been taking it for about 3 days now. And just a note: I take 200mg 3 times a day. The first couple I took I noticed that it made me very sleepy with just a little dizziness. Tonight however I took one and I was so dizzy my DH had to help me out of the restaurant. I've also had a friend who took it and had to decrease the frequency due to dizziness. But had another friend who did just fine. We will see how the rest work out the more I take them. Honestly, I would rather deal with the side effects (as long as they aren't too terrible) and have it increase my levels. My Progesterone went from 9.7 to 143 in 2 days of taking them. Good luck!

You are adding progesterone to your body so it will compound your normal Pms symptoms. Sore breasts, a little more tired. I experienced normal progesterone related side effects. It is so worth it.

sore breasts, moody, dizzy at first but it got better. I've been on it for almost 2 weeks

Thanks ladies. Took my first dose (200mg) last night. Super dizzy and tired. But I know will be worth it. Going in in Thursday for ultrasound. FX

Extreme fatigue and sore breasts. I will add that I was also on the Crinone suppositories so my Progesterone was in the upper 200's.

Tired and sore breasts. Best sleep ever though! 

Also weight gain, I took Prometrium before I was pregnant and gained about 10 pounds right away.  Since becoming pregnant I have been using progesterone suppositories and I don't know if it is that with the combination of normal pregnancy weight gain but I am up about 7 pounds and only 11 weeks along. Sort of frustrating especially because I work really hard to keep my weight down. But if that's what it takes to have a healthy baby I will do it!

I started progesterone in oil injections about a week and a half ago and then added prometrium pills twice a day a few days ago. The prometrium makes me feel loopy/tipsy for about an hour after I take it. It's an issue in the morning but at night I just take it before bed. Ditto the sore boobs and fatigue (and I might not be pregnant at all).
