I don't think I have ever discussed my stepmother here-- but her birthday is on Sunday and I am stuck for a gift.
My typical go to is to send a floral arrangement-- but since I am going over on Sunday for a visit, I feel the need to give her something more tangible. We have a very hot and cold relationship, but she loves DD dearly, so I was thinking it could be a gift from DD?
She doesn't like much. I have her clothing style pegged-- but she's always weird about what size you get her. If you buy her a large (her size) she gets offended. If you buy her the medium (the size she claims to be) she complains that she can't wear it/ it doesnt fit her.
She's not overly feminine, so the typical go to/ non sized things don't work-- so no scarves, handbags, jewelry, perfume.
She's s huge wine drinker, but I am hesitant to buy wine because she has very specific and expensive taste.
Gift cards are not an option-- she's a disaster and will lose it (she doesn't carry a wallet or purse- she ususally shoves some random cash and CCs in her pocket.)
I'd like to spend about 50.00-- any suggestions would be great-- HALP ME!

Re: What to get the woman that likes nothing?
@namastebiotches-- I did think of that and mentioned it to my dad, but he told me she's dieting. For the three millionth time.

To the bolded-- depends on the day-- LOL.
It's not a bad idea in theory, but she's overly involved in my little (half) sister's travelling volleyball team, and she's hard to pin down for a day trip.

My go tos for her are always flowers or something DS related. Last year I had him paint a flower pot and then we put flowers in. She loved it! I also gave her a small bouquet of cut flowers to go with it.
Another thing we did was get a couple really cut tea cups with some good teas inside. I grew up in London so for us it had sentimental value too, but not sure if it would work for you.
