I am a much better mother when I'm working.  This summer, I spent way too much time on my phone while J was playing.  Now that I'm working, I make sure to sit down and actually play with him more often rather than just letting him play on his own.  

On that same note, we're canceling our cable and I couldn't be more excited because I feel like it's going to make H a better daddy.

I totally relate to this. I treasure my time with O more now that I'm back to work and know I'm much more engaged as a parent.
