Positive Vibes needed

Hey guys, hope it's okay for me to create a thread for this...didn't know where to put it.

We are getting ready to head to a specialist for the first time and I'm scared to death. Obviously scared that something will be wrong on U/S, but past that there are a lot of possibilities that I have like the Lovenox shots, risk of stillbirth, and possibility of super early preemie. We are first time parents and we are scared to death. We will do WHATEVER it takes to make sure this little baby has a chance, but it's really scary. A lot of people don't realize they have clotting disorders until they've already miscarried, so we aren't really sure about the rate for those who are diagnosed during pregnancy. Hoping for a lot of answers this morning.

Anyway, not trying to AW just needed to get that off my chest to someone other than family.

We just finished the appointment! We are just fine and he basically was SO angry that my OB's office had freaked us out so badly! The SCH is healing and he took me off of bedrest. We are just over the top excited. He said he is going to double check my blood tests but that he doesn't think it's bad enough for Lovenox. Oh, and it's a GIRL!!!!

That's great news congrats!!! yay to no lovenox !! My specialist also said I wasn't bad enough for lovenox (well I'll have to have them for 2 weeks before deliver (c section) and 2 weeks after but still WAY better then 9 months!! He did put me on ecotrin for the remainder of my pregnancy tho - as a small precaution it's just baby aspirin so nothing hectic I hope your doc agrees to the same congrats again on ur good news!!

I'm glad they caught it this early, that is great news! A friend of mine had a clotting disorder that she didn't know about and her first pregnancy didn't end well.  However, she knew about it the second time and was put on an aspirin regimen every day and also had to give herself daily shots.  She conceived natural twins that pregnancy and they were born completely healthy!  They did deliver her a month or so early to avoid getting to a certain point in her pregnancy though.  The twins did great and are happy, almost 3 year olds now.
