Mirena - Tipped Uterus

I have a tipped uterus. It has never given me problems until today. I went in for my yearly checkup and wanted to get a Mirena. I was seeing a NP who inserts Mierena quite often. She was having a hard time getting my cervix to allign so she could get it ready for the Mirena. She decided that an OB will need to do the insertion and that I might need some anesthesia for the pain.

Has anyone here had an issues like this while getting an IUD?

    I have a tipped uterus and my OB had no issues placing it and had minimal cramping after. He did take a look to see the degree of tilt first.
