Hi ladies! I have been lurking this board for a while now (creepy? Nah.) and have decided that I'd love to get in on all the wonderful support and community here. T (the hubby) and I began trying for a child in the summer of 2012. We finally got pregnant after 11 months but sadly suffered a chemical pregnancy a couple days later. After the year mark I tried to get in to a RE but they refused to see me until it had been a year since our loss. A few months later I found a fertility clinic that I was able to get into and we finally began our testing. All of my tests seemed to go well, but T's S/A revealed that he had a low count as well as a morphology issue. We were diagnosed with Male Factor Infertility. Our RE recommended IUI, but we later discovered that our insurance actually covers IVF. After a lot of late night talks we decided to go forward with IVF early next year. We are so excited to have a plan in place, but scared of getting our hopes up, but we really want to give it a go!
I hope you all will have me here. I'm excited to get to know all of you.
A little about me:
I love martinis. I take lots of medicine for my autoimmune disorder.
I love M*A*S*H. ^Betcha can't guess where my username came from.
I'm an artist. I like dogs way more than people.
Reading is my favorite thing to do. ^_^
I have crazy in-laws.
Thanks for taking the time to read my intro! I know they probably aren't the most exciting things in the world.
