Nails falling off

Ok, this is kinda gross, but it keeps happening so...  DD's toenails and fingernails are falling off.   Last week she lost a small toenail, then a large part of her thumb nail, and now her big toenail is about to come off. Another small toe looks like it's going to loose the nail soon too. Since it happened on her hand, too, I don't think it's her shoes or a fungus(?). I tried goggling a bit and HFM came up, but she hasn't been sick at all.  At first I thought she was stubbing them- getting them bent back by accident while she plays- but now that it's 4 nails in a 2 week period, it just seems like a lot. And if it's that, I don't know when it happens because she's never noticeably in pain. 

She has her 2 yo visit to the doc next week, I'm thinking her big toenail will be completely off by then and I took a pic of what it looks like now to show him and I'll talk to him about it then.  But does anyone else have any experience or thoughts as to what it could be?
