So I know this had been posted about but it's been a little bit and things change. How many meals do you now give lo?

I give breakfast and dinner. She is definitely a eater. My mil thinks she is ready for lunch to be added in there, which I was annoyed about cause she watched her last week and the one day was like I think I will give her lunch tomorrow. I said no. I kinda want to be the one to introduce lunch not her. (Sorry if it sounds childish, but it's that's how I feel) anyways my sil pediatrician also told her that her baby should be at 3 meals and she is only 3 weeks older.

So just curious what everyone else is doing and if ur ped said they should be at 3 meals?

Just a fruit at lunch and veggie at dinner. We do blw.

He gets something while I'm eating breakfast. Either I'll share my banana with him or he'll have a pancake. At lunch MIL gives him a puree. Usually a veggie. At dinner I try to give with what we're having if I can. If he can't eat it, I'll give him some puffs and another puree.  So I guess he's sort of getting 3 small meals on top of his bottle every 3-3 1/2 hrs. Don't remember what Ped told us to do, but we go for his 9 month check up on Monday. This was one of the questions I had.

And @mamatoosh - your post made me giggle. I could totally see DS stealing snacks!

He gets 3 meals but usually he barely touches breakfast. If we don't give him anything though, he screeches like a banshee. He still nurses at least 8x per day too.  I'm pretty sure eating is his super-power.

We are at three meals a day and just this past week it's like her appetite went way up. She usually has oatmeal and a fruit at Bk, a veggie and a protein for lunch and some combo of veggie, fruit or protein for supper. She's still BF in between meals and before bed. Still mostly purees, although she's getting much better with textures, just not good at feeding herself.

She does 3 meals a day.  

Breakfast is yogurt, fruit and some cheerios on her tray.  We also do toast and eggs on the weekends.

Lunch is toast, puree pouch(she sucks it out herself) or some veggies like broccoli, carrots etc,

Dinner is whatever we are having.  meat, potatoes, veggies

We do BLW and she gets three meals a day.  Breakfast is usually dry cereal and grapes.  Lunch is some sort of meat and veggie, and dinner is whatever we are having.  She is a carnivore though and LOVES meat.  I think if I gave her chicken for breakfast she would be in heaven!

DS gets 3 meals. He gets his 5 bottles throughout the day. At daycare later morning they give him oatmeal with a pureed fruit. Weekends we have done eggs with him-trying to get him to eat foods besides purées. It's still a work in progress as he spits it out, I'm assuming it's the texture cause he does it to other foods too. He will be stuck on purées his whole life. Ha ha!!!! Anyone else go through this?? I'm sure it will take time. I've been giving him puffs too to practice with.
Lunch at daycare around 2 they give give some rice cereal and a veggie(purée).
Dinner we do a veggie with a protein again it's purée. Purée purée purée, ha ha!!! Anyone else just doing purées still???

@chicki1012 We are still doing just purees. He gets puffs and cheerios for practice, but does not like to eat other things. Although last night I let him gnaw on my grilled chicken and he screamed when I took it away. He did not want to hold it though. I had to be holding it and he wanted to hold my hand.

DS usually gets 3 meals a day, unless daycare skips one which has happened a few times. He also eats 6 bottles a day, totaling somewhere around 30 ounces of formula.

DD typically eats 3 meals a day although it seems like her "dinner" lasts all evening. She gets breakfast of oatmeal or yogurt and fruit purée at day care. We have started eggs at home on weekends and she loves them. Lunch at daycare is a meat and veggie purée.

DH gives her a tub of purée veggies and sometimes half a tub of fruit right before I get home at 5. Then she gets some of what we are eating around 6-6:30, she absolutely loves chicken and is getting pretty good about getting it all in her mouth. She will also get some puffs or yogurt drops between 5-6 if she seems hungry still.

She gets 5-6 bottles of 20-24 ounces of formula a day.

We are doing 3 meals now. Her dietician said we could have started that a while ago but we just started recently because she was seeming so hungry. The dietician said if she wants it, let her eat. Her meals are usually fairly small though and I typically only give one food per meal at this point.

We're doing BWL, and still at just 2 meals a day: fruit in the morning with daddy, and a veggie in the evening with me.

I'm impressed she eats egg!  I gave DS a hard boiled egg once and he acted like I was trying to poison him.  The most disgusted baby expression I've ever seen!
