Welcome to the TTFAS AL check-in. This check-in is for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day.  Please remember to post an intro on the main board as we are all here to TTC a sibling!

I am on CD2 today. We found out last week that there is a lot of uncertainty with my work right now and I have been going on the impression that TTC will have to continue to wait. DH has other thoughts as he wants to try despite the uncertainty. We have some conversations that need to take place over the next week before I can officially stay on the bench or burn it. Either way, medically, I'm clear to burn the bench!

QOTW: I would never sweep floors. Not that it is tough, I just hate picking everything up first to do it. I know I'm lazy! lol

Good morning, CD 10 here. Having a blood draw on Saturday, FX my level is very close to 0. Once it is I can get the RLP done. I haven't talked to my RE but I'm not sure if we are going to prevent or not this cycle. I feel like it has always taken us numerous cycles to conceive anyway so why bother.

QOTW: I would love to never pick up toys again.

This will be a P&R because I'm headed out of town for a long weekend away with DH. We'll be in the north woods and I'm hoping the fall colors will be at their peak. 

I'm CD10 today. This is our first active TTC cycle since March, so wish us luck! I'll be bringing OPKS with me, but leaving the thermometer at home so as not to stress too much.

QOTW: laundry. Ugh.

@Nieko0423 - Sorry for the uncertainty with work.  I hope you can figure things out with your H and the timing works out for you.  Yay for being medically cleared though!

@ksimo6 - Congrats but who are you?? I don’t think you’ve checked in on this check in before and as it says at the top PM the check-in leader with your BFP.  Some ladies are dealing with some tough stuff right now and I would hate to see them hurt by a drive by BFP.

@nara005 - So many many hugs to you.  Thinking of you!

@BookishMomma - FX for you!!  Hoping the long weekend away is good luck!

@mrandmrsk91011 - FX for your H at the open hire event!  And yay for running/walking!

AFM: October will be a tough month with my first EDD of the year and no chance of being pregnant for it.  But we decided once AF comes we’re going to start trying so that is good at least!  And training for my half-marathon is going really well.  I can’t believe it’s in 2.5 weeks!

We are back on the bench for at least the next 8 weeks.  But this is a good thing.  We saw the new RE and we are going to try something totally different and unconventional.  It is a mix of vitamins and other meds to 'clean up' my immune system.  I have some sort of chronic inflammation, clotting issues, and hormone defect.  So we are going to work on making me better and then we can try again.

QOTW:  Cleaning bathrooms.

Hey ladies! Not much new, CD13 and I think O is on the way, my temps are a mess though because my kid wakes up so much in the night I don't get good interrupted sleep. :-|

Yes, thanks for that ksimo6, just what I needed to see today. Had my SHG this afternoon and they weren't even able to get all the fluid into my uterus due to a large fibroid putting pressure on the catheter. The OB believes it's the cause of my losses, so relieved for hat, but apprehensive about what they are going to do about it. So many mixed feelings!

Wow, it sure is awesome being blindsided by a BFP in a "safe place" checkin. Congrats, @ksimo6‌, I hope you don't come back.

I'm alright...tons of ovulation cramps so I guess that's good. Not feeling hopeful at all though.

First and foremost ladies, before I address you all individually, I want to apologize for that blindside post yesterday. I was unaware of the BFP or else I would have addressed it accordingly. So many hugs to those who were hurt by it!

@ellebelle2384 Big hugs that you EDD is coming up. Awesome job on training for a half-marathon! I'm doing a 5K in November and have no motivation to train for it walking or jogging.

@mattsgirl2004 I am lucky that DH cleans the bathrooms or I'd hate that chore too!

@squirmworms I'm glad you like the plan your RE is suggesting. I hope the waiting works out when you TTC again!

@LauraO11 I'm sorry you had a rough time at your SHG, but I hope that your OB can get a plan together for the fibroid so you don't have to go through this again! Let us know what they say.

Oh and an update on me, DH and I continued our talk yesterday and we decided no matter what happens with my job situation we are going to go ahead and TTC. 

We asked DD last night "do you want mommy and daddy to try for another baby?" and she said "baby". It melted my heart and brought me to tears. Of course we kept asking her afterwards and all she would do is shake her head no. lol
