Re: ~*~ 3T Grad Check In ~*~ 10/2
And rooting for everyone else, too! This board is overdue for a bunch of good news. I am hoping October is a very good month for you all with several BFPs! FX!
AFM, I am 25w3d and WHERE IS TIME GOING?! For serious, someone hit "fast forward" and it's all a bit strange and surreal!
I had my shower on Sunday and it was awesome! The flight there last week was fine, but the flight back on Tuesday was really uncomfortable - I got a little worried since it felt like something was trying to push its way out (like a brick pressing down on my pelvis) with all the pressure. Thankfully that's calmed down!
I don't want to throw up a ton of baby shower photos here in case it's a trigger for someone, so I will post the link to my AW thread on Jan15 if anyone wants to see more pics!
(all the warnings for this thread:)

In short, my Mom did amazing at planning every detail - it was Winnie the Pooh themed! I should have guessed, but I just missed the obvious. So now little Ryan has a bunch of Pooh and Tigger dolls and books and such. Yay!!!
Big gifts were the crib and mattress, the bedding set, a pack n play, a breast pump (my insurance doesn't cover it), and a ton of clothes and books!
QOTW (ETA): Yup, we have family photos booked for mid-November - DH, me, and our dog. We figure we can use them for holiday cards, maternity photos (though it's mostly family photos where I happen to be pregnant, rather than posed belly-focused shots) and it's also going to serve as a try-out for this photographer to do our newborn photos of Ryan.
And if you don't want to go to the other thread to see more photos, here's just the bedding set we got and my selfie pre-shower:
Off birth control March 2012 - Actively trying Sept 2012-April 2014
BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3
Good morning, ladies!
All is well here. I'll be 32 weeks on Saturday! OB appointments start picking up to every other week now which is crazy! I am definitely starting to get more and more uncomfortable the bigger she gets. Her new favorite thing is to kick my bladder -- that is no fun.
We had two showers last week. One was a surprise shower some former co-workers of mine threw and the other was with my friends and family in Texas. Both were amazing and we got a ton of stuff. I have been scrambling to re-stock my registry because we still have two more showers coming up! This baby will no doubt have everything she needs, and then some.
I won't post a lot of shower pics, but here is one of the cake from the Texas shower! I thought it was SO pretty and it was delicious too.
QOTW: We are doing maternity pictures on October 18! I can't wait. I have been trying to figure out what to wear as I am out growing all of my favorite outfits.

Thanks for the support with the IVF stuff! I just had a consult today and I feel hopeful. My numbers on the labs in September were abnormal so doing a month of metformin and then likely starting after that. The protocol will be extremely different this time around and will also be much shorter (about 2 weeks beginning to end as opposed to like 5ish last time).
@ttuprincess That's a beautiful cake!

@ttuprincess That is a beautiful cake! Four showers, wow! That sounds like so much fun!
Not too much new for me at the moment; my first OB appointment is not until next week. I'm 10w5d but last week I was measuring a little bigger. We are waiting until after that appointment to tell the rest of our family. Something cute: my cat has been snuggling up to my stomach every night when we sleep! I wonder if he can hear the heartbeat or knows there is a baby!
I'm always lurking and checking out the weekly check-ins. I'm hoping for more bfps soon! Hugs!
QOTW: We plan to have them done later in the pregnancy. We didn't have professional engagement photos and I regret not having them done. So, I already told my H that we are getting them! I also want to do some around Christmas at our house with the tree and our kitties too! So, yes! All the pictures!
I'm officially 9 weeks today. We had an U/S with a high risk doctor because of the 3 babies (a set of identical and one single) only to find out that we lost the twins. We still have our single baby and we are holding on tight. This pregnancy has been such a roller-coaster of emotions so far, but we are hopeful that this will be a happy time for us soon. Within the space of 2 weeks we found out we were expecting triplets, only to be told that the heartbeats that we heard last week are no longer beating.
QOTW: Did you do/are you doing professional pregnancy pics? We are planning on having pregnancy pics and newborn pics done.
