DS Peeing A lot

So our youngest will be turning 3 on the 12th and we are in the midst of potty training.  He is comfortable with peeing in the potty and will go when I put him on it. However, it seems that he pees like every 10 minutes and it's really discouraging all of us.  I try to limit his fluid intake but I don't know what else to do.  Maybe it's a medical thing.  Any ideas?

Maybe he just isn't emptying his bladder all the way? Does he get a reward each time he goes? If so he might be just trying to get more rewards.

I would mention it to the doctor next time you are there so they can make sure nothing else is going on.
